The long-awaited wind of adventure has eventually started blowing. We are in Oslo, the capital city of Norway. We are visiting Justyna and Michal, who are pregnant Oslo is an ideal place for bearing and rearing children, at least that is our first impression. It’s not so much about the wealth of the country, but first and foremost about the lifestyle. It is Wednesday, we spent that day in the centre, but did not see a bit of the hectic rush typical for the big cities. We noticed a couple of runners, but their clothing and behavior were suggestive of smooth trot rather than an urban gallop. When it comes to moving, the most popular means of transport here are bikes- used by everyone starting from decent men in suits- finishing at sexy female gardeners. And as for the fashion- the local people do have their style-much different from the eastern- European: easy, colorful and fresh. It is reflected also in architecture and design- we feel as if we finally found ourselves in the country where the ideas from the designer magazines have been eventually applied to the real buildings. And we like it. We really do. By why-on-earth everything here is so expensive?
Today our hosts took us to Vigeland Park, which is a nice place, perhaps the finest of this kind among all the parks we have ever been to. We recommend it especially to those, who just like us, prefer the more-understandable art.
