And That's All

Ten days ago we got back to Poland and our first delight has already faded away. No longer do we celebrate every morsel of schabowy* or squeal with happiness, when we manage to exchange a few words with a shop assistant.

And now it is time to write a short summary of our journey:

We were traveling for a month by various means of transport: by plane, by bus, by train, by trucks, by car, on foot. We took a closer look at the county of Antrim in Northern Ireland and the Spanish province of Galicia. We shared a space for 24 hours a day, so we had an opportunity to learn a lot from each other and about each other. We also strengthened the bonds with our friends. We experienced numerous inspiring meetings and magical moments, which will remain in our minds for years.

We were lucky to avoid unpleasant surprises. We were neither robbed nor deceived. Far from that- very often people were offering us help and assistance, even if we did not expect it. This journey, thus, was a journey of trust and faith in people. And however affected it might sound we must write that: PEOPLE ARE GOOD.

We would like to express thanks to all of you, for following us on this blog. You were traveling with us, and we hope we managed to share with you some of the good moments, good emotions and good energy. At the same time we promise that the account of our next journey will turn up on this blog soon…


*schabowy /zha'bo-vy/ - a kind of Polish traditional beef chop fried in batter; unbelivably delicious ;)
